Roddy Bogawa
Film/Video. M.F.A., University of California, San Diego; Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program. Filmography includes the features Junk (1999) and Some Divine Wind (1991), and the shorts If Andy Warhol's Super-8 Camera Could Talk, Four or Five Accidents, One June . . . , and The Imagined, the Longed-For, the Conquered, and the Sublime. His films have been shown at Sundance Film Festival, Mannheim International Film Festival, and Asian American International Film Festival, as well as the Whitney Biennial (1993, 1995); Museum of Modern Art; Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum; and Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus, Ohio. Awards and grants from the Jerome Foundation, New York State Council on the Arts, American Center Founda-tion, and Russell Family Foundation.
