Oliver Wasow
Photography. B.A., Hunter College; M.F.A., Transart Institute, Austria. Represented by Janet Borden Gallery, New York. Solo exhibitions at Janet Borden Gallery; Tom Solomon Gallery, Los Angeles; South Eastern Center for Contemporary Art, Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Galerie de Poche, Paris. His work has also been included in such benchmark exhibitions as Image World (Whitney Museum of American Art) and The Photography of Invention (National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.). Represented in a number of private collections and prominent public collections, including those of the Whitney Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Milwaukee Art Museum. Recipient of a Louis Comfort Tiffany Grant and two New York State Council on the Arts grants. Currently teaches in the MFA Program at the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley College and the Photography department of the School of Visual Arts, New York.
