| Master of Music Degree in Conducting
The Conductors Institute offers a master of music degree in a 15-month program that consists of two summer institutes and an academic-year course of study in the Bard Conservatory. The M. Music program features the following components:
- Master classes in technical score study and analysis with Maestro Farberman
- Podium time, including
- Class sessions with the Institute String Quintet
- Conducting opportunities with orchestra and chorus
- Two summer institutes
- Completion concert with the Institute Orchestra
- Class study in

- Basic orchestra repertoire
- Languages
- A "second" instrument (string or piano)
- Solfège
Tuition and fees in 2006–07 totaled $16,666. Fees include a $100 registration fee each semester, a $110 graduation fee charged prior to graduation, and a $500 health services fee. Summer health insurance coverage is available for an additional fee.
