IWT has played a role in and is an integral part of many landmark Bard programs, including: the Language & Thinking Program for first-year students; the Bard Learning Commons; the Bard High School Early College programs; and the Master of Arts in Teaching Program, whose director, Ric Campbell, is an IWT associate.

Working with L&T Faculty

IWT has collaborated on developing new writing practices with faculty in the Language & Thinking program (L&T) ; Bard faculty who have taught L&T have continued on to lead IWT workshops and participate in conferences

The Learning Commons

The Bard Learning Commons provides tutoring and other forms of academic support to all Bard students in all subject areas taught at the college. Learning Commons Director Jim Keller is also an IWT faculty associate.

Bard High School Early College (BHSEC) faculty, from campuses in Manhattan, Queens, Newark, Delano, New Orleans, and at Simon's Rock, regularly participate in IWT workshops.
