The Levy Economics Institute's library and information department, located in Blithewood on the Bard campus, has a collection of more than 12,000 books, primarily on the subject of economics. It has access to over 20,000 journals, newspapers, magazines and reports online, on CD-ROM, and through current subscriptions.   Other resources include databases such as EconLit, OCLC, and International Financial Statistics on CD-ROM; United Nations electronic publications; OECD electronic data; STAT-USA and electronic data from ICPSR.

It also houses collections of working, research, and discussion papers from various universities and economic institutions. The library also has responsibility for the Levy Institute's archival collection; materials related to the Levy manuscripts and archives; and the Levy Institute's research, publications, conferences, workshops, lectures, and other activities.

The library's collection is non-circulating. Visitors who are not affiliated with the Levy Institute may use the library by appointment. The library is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except when the College is closed or when the Institute is holding conferences or seminars.
