Bard, A Place to Think - Master of Arts in Teaching

Overview
After a summer of graduate coursework on Bard's main campus in Annandale-on-Hudson, MAT students who plan to teach in New York City will complete all their program requirements at Bard MAT Program's New York City satellite campus in Long Island City, NY. Graduate students will work in high school classrooms with mentor teachers and their students in the morning or early afternoon, then take graduate courses later in the day that directly address the curriculum and other issues that emerge in their classroom settings.

Housing & Meals
Students based in New York City will be responsible for making their own housing arrangements for the period from September through May when they are in the City full time.
