Cusack is the founder of Gifford Park Associates (GPA), a sustainability management advisory firm specializing in the areas of sustainability finance, management and implementation, responsible investing, clean technologies, climate change, environmental risks disclosure, and the relationship between the sustainability and financial performance of firms. Clients have included a variety of multinational corporations, financial firms, and international agencies and governments, including the UAE, UN, OECD, and US State Dept. Prior to starting GPA, Cusack was a senior executive in North America & Europe for several cleantech subsidiaries of Asea Brown Boveri (ABB). He served as liaison with ABB’s energy/environmental VC fund and as advisor to ABB Environmental Affairs. In addition to developing and teaching the “Finance for Sustainable Business” course at Bard, he also has developed a course called “Sustainable Finance,” that he teaches at Iona College.
