"Peace and Avicenna's Flying Man"

On Wednesday, November 4, we have "Peace and Avicenna's Flying Man" seminar in the campus center meeting room (2nd floor of the cc).
Our guest is Sari Nusseibeh, President of Al-Quds University in Jerusalem, where he also teaches philosophy. He has written several books, including Once Upon a Country: A Palestinian Life, No Trumpets No Drums: A Two-State Settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, and Palestine: A State is Born. In addition to winning several awards, Dr. Nusseibeh has been a Visiting Fellow at the Baker Institute for Public Policy, Rice University (2006), the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, Harvard (2004-2005) and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Washington D.C. (1994-1995).
