Center for Curatorial Studies presents
Curate Information Session presented by Fondazione Prada
Thursday, December 12, 2013
Fondazione Prada and Qatar Museums Authority will present Curate - a global competition organized by the two institutions to find new curating talent – at the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York.
The event will take place at CCS Bard in Seminar Room 1 on Thursday, 12 December 2013 at 2:30 pm, as part of a series of events for students and teachers promoted by the two organizations in collaboration with leading international universities and art academies specializing in curatorial studies.
Previous presentations in October and November included the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan, Università luav in Venice, Virginia Commonwealth University in Doha, and China Academy of Fine Arts in Hangzhou.
Curate accepts entries online on www.curateaward.org until 31 December 2013. It opens up and challenges people’s ideas of what an exhibition can be. It will provide one winner with the unprecedented opportunity to curate the exhibition of his/her dreams.
