Stop by, get swabbed, and save a life!
Every three minutes in the United States, someone is diagnosed with blood cancer. For many patients, a stem cell transplant is the last chance for survival. However, this requires a donor who is nearly a genetic twin. Finding this perfect match is like finding a needle in a haystack. About 14,000 patients will need a stem cell transplant this year. Only 30% of patients find a match within their family; the other 70% of patients rely on a perfect stranger, like you, to give them a second chance at life.Registering takes only 10 minutes and a quick cheek swab; no appointments needed. Then, if you are a perfect match, now or at some point in the future, you will get the chance to save somebody's life!
Delete Blood Cancer (DBC) is a charitable organization that has the world's largest database of potential stem cell donors. Questions? Contact Dennis King ([email protected]).
