Chaplaincy Presents
Yom Kippur
Tuesday, October 11, 2016 – Wednesday, October 12, 2016
Beit Shalom-Salam (Basement of Village A)
Tuesday evening 10/11 and Wednesday 10/12.
Yom Kippur (the Jewish Day of Atonement) will begin promptly at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11 in Beit Shalom-Salaam (in the Center for Spiritual Life, Basement of Village A). The evening service will run no more than a couple of hours. The morning service will begin in the same location at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12 and will last a couple of hours. After that all are encouraged to stay with us for the day, to reflect, hang out, chat, discuss, and so on. It makes the fasting easier if you're with the community. At 7:05 p.m. we will break the fast, and again, all are invited (whether you've been fasting or not, whether you've been with us during the day or not). For more information, call 201-956-8228, or e-mail [email protected].
