Hello, The following event may be of interest to you: Farm NYC with Kubi Ackerman & Sarah Brannen Monday, November 19, 2012 <<<<<>>>>>Join Bard MBA in Sustainability as we bring together sustainable business experts for our weekly conversation series. Each evening will begin with a conversation amongst our panelists on the topic of the night, followed by questions from the audience. This is a unique opportunity to engage in conversation with some of the most well known experts in the field of sustainability. Prospective students will also have a change to learn more about the Bard MBA program from Director Goodstein and admissions representatives.Our November 19th conversation will focus on food security and urban agriculture with our Farm NYC panel featuring Kubi Ackerman and Sarah Brannen. Kubi Ackerman works on food systems and urbanization projects, including efforts to curb childhood obesity and assess New York City's regional "foodshed" as well as managing a project to evaluate the capacity of New York City for urban agriculture. Sarah Brannen is Vice President for Research & Policy at Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress where she is managing an initiative to develop a local food hub in the Hudson Valley. Seating is limited.
