Drawing its musical influences from American roots music—swing, boogie woogie, rhythm and blues, soul, and Motown—Eight to the Bar is known for its outstanding instrumentalists and colorful mix of ’40s jazz and swing, ’50s jump blues, and their own swing-influenced tunes and vocals.
