The Hopkins-Nanjing Center is a full joint-venture run by The Johns Hopkins University and Nanjing University. It offers three programs: a one-year Graduate Certificate in Chinese and American Studies; a two-year Master of Arts in International Studies (which is conferred by both The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and Nanjing University); and a five-semester option where students spend one year in Nanjing as Certificate students and spend the remaining three semesters at Johns Hopkins SAIS in Washington, D.C. where they would earn an M.A.Come to the Information Table in Campus Center Lobby to speak with an admissions representative:When: Wednesday, September 18, 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.Where: Campus Center LobbyLed by: Sallie You, Admissions CoordinatorThe Center is a fully bi-cultural and bilingual institution located in Nanjing, China on the campus of Nanjing University. Non-Chinese students take their classes in Mandarin while Chinese students take their classes in English, and M.A. students write and defend a thesis in their target language at the end of the two-year program.
