Hello, The following event may be of interest to you: Bard College Fossil Fuel Divestment Campaign Workshop Thursday, October 3, 2013 The Environment Collective and the Socially Responsible Investment Collective are hosting the speaker KC Alvey.KC Alvey is a representative from 350.org (http://350.org/our-team), a website dedicated to building a global grassroots movement to solve the climate crisis. She has been in communication with the Bard College Fossil Fuel Divestment Campaign since it's beginnings and is in contact with many other college campaign groups all over the northeast (Vassar and Hamilton to name a few). Alvey will be teaching about administrative negotiations, campaign demands, organizational goals, recruitment and such using the BCFFDC as point of discussion.
