How can local communities organize to reach out to Congress for immigration reform?Join us for a panel discussion on the Movement for Immigration Reform with Milan Bhatt, Executive Director of the Worker Justice Center of New York, Kat Fisher, Political Organizer of Citizen Action of New York, Laura Garcia, volunteer with Latinos Unidos Hudson Valley Inc, and Miles Rodriguez, history faculty at Bard College. Free and open to the public. Presented by: Revista La Voz, ISO (International Students Organization), LASO (Latin American Students Organization), Spanish Studies Program at Bard, Difference and Media Project, Human Rights Project, y LAIS (Latin American and Iberian Studies), members of the Mes Latino Coalition at Bard.
