Hello, The following event may be of interest to you: Piano Master Class, with Renowned Pianist/Bang on a Can All-Stars Cofounder Lisa Moore Sunday, November 24, 2013 Described as “brilliant and searching ... beautiful and impassioned ... lustrous at the keyboard” by the New York Times, Lisa Moore’s playing combines music, theatre and expressive, emotional power—whether in the delivery of the simplest song, a solo recital or a fiendish chamber score. From 1992 to 2008, she was the founding pianist for the Bang On A Can All-Stars—the New York–based electro-acoustic sextet and winner of Musical America's 2005 Ensemble of the Year Award. Passionately dedicated to the music of our time as well as the great musical canon, she has collaborated with composers such as Elliot Carter, John Adams, Iannis Xenakis, Meredith Monk, Phillip Glass, Gerard Brophy, Julian Day, Elena Kats-Chernin, Thurston Moore, Martin Bresnick, Kate Moore, Steve Reich and Ornette Coleman.
