Hello, The following event may be of interest to you: Mid-Hudson Math Conference for Undergraduates Saturday, November 2, 2013 Please join us for The Fourth Biennial Mid-Hudson Mathematics Conference for UndergraduatesPlenary Address by Sam Vandervelde of St. Lawrence University: "Path-Counting for Pleasure and Profit" The conference will be held in the Gabrielle H. Reem and Herbert J. Kayden Center for Science and Computation at Bard College. Continental breakfast and lunch are complimentary and registration is free. Undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty are invited to give 20-minute talks. To register and/or submit an abstract, go to math.bard.edu/mhmc2013. Abstract deadline: Friday, October 18.Please register soon, even if you are not giving a talk.
