A lecture by Aleksandra Sherman, 
candidate for the position in PsychologyOur experiences of the world are fundamentally multisensory. Our brain integrates information from all senses with ongoing internal activity to shape how we perceive the world. In my talk, I will focus specifically on how auditory and visual signals combine to influence our internal cognitive and emotional states, how we perceive faces of people around us, how we coordinate with other individuals, and even how we interact with art.
