Hello, The following event may be of interest to you: Tivoli - Teen Fiction Workshop Friday, March 28, 2014 Educator, novelist, and poet, Carley Moore, will lead teens, grade 7 and up, in a FREE writing workshop. Do you have an idea for a young adult novel or are you just curious about the genre? Participants will use excerpts from Marilynne Robinson’s novel, Housekeeping , as a springboard into their own writing around character, landscape, and plot. Please come to the workshop with a notebook and a pen or pencil.Carley Moore’s poetry, essays, and articles have appeared in The American Poetry Review, Aufgabe, Coconut, Fence, and The Journal of Popular Culture. She is the Book Review Editor for the website Writing in Public, and her debut young adult novel, The Stalker Chronicles was published by Farrar, Straus, and Giroux in 2012. She’s a full-time faculty member in The Liberal Studies Program at New York University and an Associate of the Bard Institute for Writing and Thinking.
