Interested in Using Yoga to advance your Career Goals?Are you a scientist, artist, dancer, musician, educator or researcher? Come meet with Bard yoga instructor Terry Schaff to learn about ways that you might consider using yoga to advance your career goals. When: Thursday, March 13, 5:00 p.m.Where: Campus Center 202, Red RoomLed by: Terry Schaff, Yoga InstructorAbout Terry Schaff:Terry is director of medical yoga therapy at Manhattan Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, a medical practice in New York City. She also works with at-risk kids in Hudson and Catskill and with senior citizens in Rhinebeck, New York. She will talk with you about ways you might utilize yoga to advance your career goals while also helping people living with challenging physical and mental conditions. Terry also teaches therapeutic yoga workshops twice a year at Kripalu, (the yoga retreat center in Lenox, MA), with physiatrist, Dr. Loren Fishman. The Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY will offer her water yoga program as a workshop this summer. Last month she gave a presentation on yoga for neurological conditions at the 34th Annual Braintree Rehab-Neurology Conference in Boston, MA. She published a book on “Yoga For A Healthy Spine” and is in the process of writing another on “Yoga Sequences For Medical Conditions” which will come out next year.
