U.S. Foreign Policy Presentations for State Department Summer Institute

This summer Bard is hosting 18 international scholars as part of a State Department–supported program focused on U.S. foreign policy. The participants are on campus for six weeks and have attended a series of seminars in Annandale as well as meetings with policymakers and practitioners in Washington, New York City, West Point, the FDR Library, and Albany. They will give presentations on their research and ways in which this program might add to future projects and their teaching. These presentations are open to the Bard community and take place July 29–31.July 29 Presentations:1. Diana Consuelo Ahumada (Colombia): “Human Rights in U.S. Colombia Relations6. Antonio Lessa (Brazil): “U.S.–Latin America–Brazil Relations Since 1945”
