Hello, The following event may be of interest to you: EUS Tree-Planting Adventure! Saturday, April 25, 2015 EUS students invite others to join them in planting trees with Scenic Hudson and "Trees for Tribs" on a habitat restoration project at McKeon Farm in Red Hook. Volunteers will spend a few hours planting trees at the farm, which will provide a buffer zone for the farm's agricultural run-off and will improve the water quality of a stream that filters into the Sawkill.RSVP: Please contact Sophie D'Anieri if you would like to join (so there are enough snacks and tools and vehicles).TRANSPORTATION and TIMING: Vans and/or carpools will meet at 930 at the RKC (near B&G) to arrive at the farm at 10AM. Vehicles will leave the farm at Noon to arrive back on campus by 1230PM.BRING: rubber boots, water, sunscreen, and hats and gloves if they have/want them.
