Lusher Shute is the co-founder and executive director of the National Young Farmers Coalition and a member of the Bard Center for Environmental Policy Class of 2007. She was named a "Champion of Change" by the White House in 2014 and she owns Hearty Roots Community Farm with her husband in Clermont, NY.
