Simon Ball is professor of international history and politics at the University of Leeds. He is the author of five books and in recent years has been one of the leaders of the Anglo-German Cultures of Intelligence project. Professor Ball’s Eugene Meyer lecture will explore how Britain developed Intelligence as a distinctive field of human action in both fact and fiction.
