Join Bard CEP on November 14th for a conversation with Jackson Morris, Climate and Energy Director at NRDC.The topic: The clean energy future of New York State.Jackson Morris focuses on electricity markets, statewide energy-efficiency measures, renewable energy initiatives, and climate-mitigation policies in the Northeast. His work has become even more critical as states begin exploring their compliance options under new emissions regulations in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Power Plan. Prior to joining NRDC, Morris served as director of strategic engagement for the Pace Energy and Climate Center at Pace University School of Law. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and a master’s in environmental policy from Bard College. BARD CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY The  Bard Graduate Programs in Sustainability  offer masters programs in  Environmental Policy,  Climate Science and  Policy, and Sustainable Business. The Bard Center for Environmental Policy’s career-focused, science-based, interdisciplinary master of science programs are located in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley. The rigorous first-year coursework, followed by a required four-to-six-month immersive internship, culminates with a master’s Capstone Project and a 93 percent job placement rate within six months of graduation.
