Citizen Science

The Citizen Science program at Bard promotes science literacy, focusing on the theme of infectious disease. All Bard first-year students participate in the three-week intensive course during the January intersession, receiving a foundation in the scientific method regardless of their chosen major. Students conduct laboratory experiments, create computer models, and study infectious disease in social and historical context.
