Before Coming to Bard
IILE staff will communicate with all incoming students regarding course registration, required forms, and visa materials/procedures. Before traveling to Bard, students should review Bard Basics
for information on what to pack, sending packages, cell phone plans, and more. Please note that the Bard Basics page includes information for all incoming Bard students; some of the information there will not pertain to students visiting for a single semester. Arrival Dates and Information
Visiting international students should coordinate their arrival with IILE. Arrival to campus usually coincides with the arrival of transfer students, and visiting students will take part in the transfer student orientation. For spring 2015, visiting students may arrive on campus on January 20
, and must be on campus no later than 9 a.m. on January 21 for orientation.

Log in and begin using your new Bard College e-mail account:
The College expects all students to check their Bard e-mail account regularly. All forthcoming correspondence regarding arrival and housing will be sent to your Bard e-mail address. During the school year, official messages and notifications are often sent via e-mail. You may forward your Bard College e-mail to another host if you would like. Instructions can be found online
