YuSung Eo ’15
YuSung, a native of South Korea, is majoring in political studies with a concentration in global international studies. YuSung has been enrolled in the Bard Globalization and International Affairs program, and plans to go back to his home country after graduation in order to pursue a career in politics.

Jessica Lambert ‘14
Jessica Lambert is an environmental and urban studies major from the small town of Liberty, New York. Jessica has worked with local nonprofits as an advocate for youth empowerment and community organizing. As a student representative for the Bard Sustainability Council, she’s committed to improving environmental practices on campus.

Lucy Flamm ‘15
Lucy Flamm, from Cambridge, Massachusetts, is a history major with a concentration in Middle Eastern studies. Lucy is active on campus and off, taking advantage of interdisciplinary study, funded summer internships, and the freedom to start her own campus club.

Mildred Kissai ’15
Mildred Kissai ’15, originally from Tanzania, was attending high school in Qatar when she learned about Bard. She’s a Citizen Science Fellow and also works with Bard’s Center for Civic Engagement. Mildred plans to joint major in biology and chemistry.

Julia DeFabo ’14

Julia DeFabo ’14
Julia studies anthropology, French, and Africana studies at Bard. Her interest in Western representations of African art has brought her a long way from her hometown near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—as a Bard student she’s interned at an Atlanta museum and will spend a semester in Senegal studying the nation’s language and culture.

Jack Lee ’15
Jack came to Bard from Atlanta, Georgia. As a Posse scholar, he is recognized as a young leader and receives a full-tuition scholarship to attend Bard. He’s a joint major in political studies and film, and plans to pursue a career in international broadcasting.

David Bloom '13, M.M. '14
David Bloom of Birmingham, Alabama, is the co-artistic director of the music ensemble Contemporaneous, which is based at the College and includes many Bard alumni/ae and students. He received his B.A. in music at Bard, and is now pursuing graduate study in the Orchestral Conducting Program at the Bard Conservatory of Music.

Zerrin Holle ’14
Zerrin is a dual citizen of Turkey and the United States, majoring in anthropology at Bard with a concentration in Middle Eastern studies. Zerrin conducts research on displaced Kurdish families in Turkey and works with local human rights organizations. She’s preparing to study abroad in Cairo, and looking forward to a career as an anthropologist.

Film major Brianna received a scholarship to come to Bard from Hawaii, where she grew up. A lifelong soccer player, she found her home away from home at Bard with her teammates.
