Bard Center for Environmental Policy presents

National Climate Seminar: The Power Dialog - Reports and Next Steps

Eban Goodstein, Director, The Bard Center for Environmental Policy

Tuesday, April 19, 2016

On April 20th, Eban Goodstein, Director of The Bard Center for Environmental Policy will give a report and next steps for The Power Dialog.

The week of April 4th, Power Dialog conversations were held in close to 20 state capitols. In this webinar, we will get updates from organizers about the impact of the events, and the benefits and challenges of participating in coordinated climate education. We will also discuss next steps, with a focus on a potential project for the fall around Politics and the Environment.

"With the action now beyond the partisan wrangling of Washington and the state legislatures, students can gain both a powerful learning opportunity and a real voice in the policy process. The Power Dialog is not a lobbying effort. We have no collective policy agenda for which we are advocating. Rather it is a learning opportunity for students, and also a chance for students to share their own individual thoughts and policy insights." Eban Goodstein, Director of The Bard Center for Environmental Policy
