Description
The full-time Highlands of Roan Stewardship Director responsibilities include: Advance government agency relationships to enhance stewardship of the Roan; Convene meetings of government agency partners, other conservation organizations, educational institutions, and interested individuals to facilitate effective stewardship of the Roan; Develop, communicate, and advance strong Roan stewardship policy; Lead, supervise, and conduct hands-on grassy balds restoration and management on designated sites; Partner with the State of Tennessee in managing Hampton Creek Cove State Natural Area; Serve as SAHC’s primary land steward on SAHC-owned preserves in the Roan.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years related professional experience. BS/BA and graduate degree in natural sciences or resource management.
