Biography:
Professor Amos’s area of specialization is the liminality of literature and philosophy in modern French thought. He is the author of Sharing Absence: Experience and Entretien through Maurice Blanchot (dissertation) and the translator, with Fredrik Rönnbäck, of Pascal Quignard’s Hatred of Music (Yale University Press, 2016). Honors include the Andrew Dulau Dissertation Fellowship (2012–13) and Penfield Fellowship (2011).BA, MA, PhD, New York University. At Bard since 2014.
