Biography:
Navneet Kaur's areas of expertise include general chemistry, biochemistry, and organic chemistry; chemical product and process development; synthesis and medicinal chemistry; and analytic chemistry. She previously taught at SUNY New Paltz, Marist College, and Dutchess Community College; and served as a visiting lab instructor at Bard in 2015–16. She held a postdoc position at the University of Central Florida, where she oversaw projects including anti-cancer and anti-metastatic agents and pulmonary delivery of insulin. Professor Kaur has also served as a senior scientist at MannKind Corporation, where she was a member of a team working on the development of a small molecule excipient for inhaled insulin, among other projects. She holds several U.S. patents, including one for diagnostic tests for inflammatory bowel diseases. Her work has been published in the Journal of Organic Chemistry, Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Molecular Pharmaceutics, Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, Indian Journal of Chemistry, and Tetrahedron.BSc, MSc, PhD, Guru Nanak Dev University, India.
