New York Women in Communications Foundation hosts a day-long conference, featuring over 40 communications professionals speaking on 10 different topics. More than 300 college students attend to get career tips on various communication fields, ranging from journalism, marketing, and public relations, to broadcasting, social media, and entrepreneurship. Conference Date: Saturday, November 10, 2018, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Apply for CDO Sponsorship to Attend the Event:
The Career Development Office is pleased to sponsor a limited number of students to attend the 2018 conference. If you are interested in pursuing a career in the field of communications, or want to learn more about the industry and would like to attend the event, please follow the application instructions below.
**Although this is the New York Women in Communications Conference, all students are welcome and encouraged to apply/attend**
Please note that the Career Development Office will cover the admission cost for a limited number of students, which is $120 per person, however, students will be responsible for transportation costs to/from the event.
Application Instructions for CDO Sponsorship:
Due to high interest, the Career Development Office asks that students submit a resume and a one-page letter of interest describing why they would like to attend the conference and what they hope to gain from the experience. Preference will be given to upperclassmen and students with a financial need. Materials should be submitted via email to [email protected].
The deadline to apply for CDO sponsorship is Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Selected students will be notified by Friday, November 2.
