Come join the conversation (via a televised panel) about the status of the amendment, what we are doing to ensure its passage, and the fights still at hand. The panel is being livestreamed from the Roosevelt Grove Fellowship Program at Hunter College in NYC. Eva Kastan Grove Fellowship Program at Roosevelt House – Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute at Hunter College 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm EDT/GMT-4
The Equal Rights Amendment would ensure women are equal under the law. The amendment is under review to include all gender-based discrimination. In 1923, the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) was first introduced in Congress to ensure that women were equal under the law and prevent sex-based discrimination. Almost one hundred years later, the United States Constitution still does not guarantee equal rights for women! To accelerate the pace of change, we started Campus ERA Day in 2017.
