Email Setup for First Year Students


Initial Bard Account information will be sent to you in Early July by Admissions.  Once you receive this, please follow these steps to change your temporary password and log in to your Bard Email.

  1. Set up your Bard Account:
    • Browse to https://account.bard.edupass self serve
    • Log in with your Bard Account or Bard email address and temporary password
    • Follow the prompts to set security questions in case you forget your password.
    • Choose Change Password and set a new password!
    • You may wish to Update Profile as well to set a personal email and/or cell phone for an alternate password reset mechanism.
  1. Log in to your Bard email:
    • Browse to
    • Log in with your full Bard email address and new password.
    • If you are already logged in to Gmail with a personal Gmail account, you can click your profile picture and choose Add Account, then sign in with your Bard credentials. Switch between accounts by clicking your profile picture and selecting the account you wish to use.
