Tutoring

Tutoring is available in writing, world languages, and humanities subjects.
Come visit us and request a subject tutor, sign up for a 1:1 session with a writing consultant, request a Learning Strategies or Senior Project Tutor, or find ESL/EAP resources.

Varieties of Tutoring Available!

  • Writing Tutors
If you'd like writing help, the Learning Commons has trained peer-writing consultants every day of the week. Drop by during tutoring hours or sign up for an appointment in the Learning Commons!
  • Learning Strategies
Learning Strategies provides 1:1 peer support to help you strengthen study habits, manage your time, and stay organized, so you can approach your classes with more confidence. If interested contact Jessica Zoll at [email protected] or [email protected].
  • Senior Project (SProj)
Senior Project (SProj) tutoring offers support to Bard seniors working on their year-long project every step of the way. From generating ideas, to outlining, to editing, to formatting, SProj tutors can help SProjing seniors with anything they want support in, concerning their project. There are many overlaps with SProj and Learning Strategies tutoring, as many seniors benefit from tutors holding them accountable with writing, helping them stay organized, and with general time management. If interested contact Jessica Zoll at [email protected] or [email protected].
  • Study Rooms
Attend a Study Room to work on homework or study with classmates.

    Philosophy Study Room:
    Wednesday 3PM-6PM (Aspinwall 101)
  • ESL/EAP
For ESL/EAP resources, talk to Denise Minin in her office in the Learning Commons (McVickar B90), or email her at [email protected].
