Description: 

The Columbia Land Conservancy (CLC), a non-profit land trust in Chatham, NY, seeks a Community Projects Manager who will manage CLC’s Community Assistance Program, which supports local municipalities in their efforts to develop and implement land use policies and practices that promote and protect the rural character of Columbia County.

Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities include designing and offering training and resources to promote sound land use practices and conservation tools, working with communities to identify conservation priorities, and providing technical assistance and resources for community planning initiatives and conservation projects.

Qualifications:

This position requires strong interpersonal skills and initiative. Preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and an advanced degree in planning, landscape architecture, law, or a related environmental or conservation field, and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in land use or community planning or design.
