Summery:

Franklin Pierce University seeks a Sustainability Coordinator for our Rindge Campus. This position will work with faculty, students, staff and senior administration to develop and coordinate University programs in sustainability education, resource and energy conservation/efficiency, recycling and other related activities. This position will teach up to two (2) sustainability-related courses per semester. This position will also plan and promote activities for the Sustainability Center. This is a permanent, 10-month full-time position.

The successful candidate will have a master’s degree in resources management, environmental science or a closely related discipline.

The preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate successful college-level teaching and have experience implementing sustainability initiatives on an institution-wide basis. The candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, motivation, and be very personable and outgoing. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates must be able to demonstrate initiative, creativity and the ability to work with diverse constituencies both on and off campus.
