    Bard and the Surrounding Area
    The campus is not within walking distance of most residential areas. However, there are various shuttle and bus options for accessing the surrounding area, as well as Amtrak and Metro North for traveling longer distances (New York City, Albany, etc.). For more information on these services, please click here.
  • Campus Map
    Please click here for a map of the Bard College campus. A self-guided tour during the first week of classes is a great way to familiarize yourself with the beautiful campus. During orientation, you will also receive a guided tour of the buildings most often utilized by Conservatory students.
  • Security and Emergency Notification System
    Security

    Emergency Notification System
    Once you have received your Bard email address you may opt-in to the Bard Emergency Notification System following the steps below.  You can sign up for campus security alerts as well as transportation notifications:
    1. Visit https://bard.app.regroup.com/login
    2. Log-in to Bard’s Authentication Services (using your Bard email and password)
    3. Confirm your email, text, and voice preferences
    4. Click the “Join a group” Tab
  • Library
    All students at Bard have access to the Stevenson Library on-campus and to its online resources. To use these resources, student may need to visit the library's help desk to have their card activated. One of the most frequently used online library resource is Interlibrary Loan services.
  • Athletic Center
    The Stevenson Athletic Center is available for use by all students carrying a Bard student ID. All fitness classes and activities are offered free of charge to all students. For more information, please click here.
  • Student Payroll
