Follow the steps below to finalize your enrollment in the Bard College Conservatory of Music.

Enrollment Information

Below is the official paperwork that you need to fill out and submit in order to be fully enrolled at Bard.

Immediate Steps for Enrolling

  • Enrollment Form and Tuition Deposit
    To indicate your acceptance of admission, please log in to the Bard Application Portal and submit the completed Graduate Programs Reply Form with your nonrefundable tuition deposit of $515 on or before April 15. The tuition deposit will be credited toward your first semester of tuition. 
  • Submission of Final Transcript
    To matriculate at Bard College, you must provide a final official transcript from your undergraduate institution. If you did not submit a final transcript with your application, then you must do so before July 1. Please submit your official final transcript to [email protected]. If you prefer to send physical copies of your transcript, please send them to:

  • Financial Aid
    To receive any awards found in your award letter from the Office of Financial Aid you must meet the following requirements:For more information on student finances visit the Financial Aid and Student Accounts websites or email [email protected].

Student Health Insurance + Medical Forms

All required medical forms are due by July 1. Health Insurance waivers are due by August 1.

  • Health Insurance
    Health insurance is required for all Bard College students. By default, a student health insurance fee will be included in your semester tuition bill. If, however, you already have accident and illness health insurance coverage and wish to opt out of the Bard student health insurance plan, you must submit an online health insurance waiver or you will be charged for student health insurance. The deadline for requesting a waiver is July 15. Information about Bard College’s student health insurance plan (including waiver information) can be viewed here.
  • Required Medical Forms
    In addition to insurance, Bard College does require some some key health information before you arrive. Here is a detailed list of what we will need from you: Health Intake for Incoming Students. Once your Bard email address has been activated, you will be able to upload all of the information needed by Health Services by following the links in the document. 
  • Disability Registration Form
    Bard College is committed to providing otherwise qualified individuals with disabilities equal access to the College’s academic courses, programs, and activities. In support of this mission, the College provides services and reasonable accommodations to self-identified students with disabilities who present the appropriate documentation. If applicable, please print, fill out, and return the Disability Registration Form.

A representative from the international student office will be in touch with you to request information and forms.
Registering Your Bard Email Address
You will receive an email with instructions on how to register your Bard student email address. Communications will be sent to your Bard email address periodically throughout the summer. Once your account is set up, it is imperative to check this account regularly before and during the school year.
