In 1972, Joan Tower joined the composition faculty at Bard College — a relationship that has now spanned 54 years, and one she has never left. Today the Asher B. Edelman Professor of Music at Bard, Tower calls the college simply "my longtime home." Presented by the Altalena Artists Collective, this concert marks that milestone with an evening of Tower’s music performed by Bard faculty, students, the Cassatt Quartet and musicians of The Orchestra Now (TON).4:00 pm
