Eli Greene Photography

Eli Greene (b. New York, NY) lives and works in Galveston, TX. Her works are often filtered through photography, saturated with the medium and everything it sticks to -- history, memory and loss. Through image, object, and performance, Greene's practice traces the act of one thing becoming another. Her recent work has been exhibited and performed at F, Houston, the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts, the South Side Community Art Center and Regards, Chicago.
Greene holds a BA from Cornell University and an MFA from The University of Chicago. She currently teaches photography at Rice University, Houston, TX.
