Matt Keegan Photography
Faculty
Matt Keegan works fluidly across mediums, creating sculpture, photographs, collage, video, paintings, and publications. A through-line of his interdisciplinary practice is a foundational interest in how we communicate and attempt to make sense of the world through images. Keegan’s interest in cognition is rooted in research and material play that often leads to working in series. Previously circulated visual material folds into his art-making as a way of accessing the link between visual and spoken language; photographing, reproducing, or translating images from one media to another.
