Admission Overview

The Conservatory five-year, double-degree program admits exceptionally talented musicians who have already achieved a superior degree of instrumental proficiency, or have substantial accomplishment as composers. To be admitted, applicants must perform a successful audition and must also be admitted by Bard College. The chances of being admitted to the College will be substantially enhanced by outstanding achievement in music.

February and early March: Live Auditions at Bard Conservatory (by invitation only)
List of prescreening and final audition requirements
 
Transfer Student Admission
November 1: Application deadline for the spring semester 
March 1: Application deadline for the fall semester

Regional prescreening auditions will be held on:
Sunday, October 9: Budapest, Hungary
Tuesday, October 11: Warsaw, Poland
Saturday, October 15: Riga, Latvia
Register for a prescreening audition in Hungary, Poland, or Latvia
