Christopher Sorrentino, candidate for a fiction position in the Written Arts program, reads from his work.Christopher Sorrentino's books include Believeniks! (with Jonathan Lethem, pseudonymously) (Doubleday), Death Wish (Soft Skull), Sound on Sound (Dalkey), the National Book Award finalist Trance (FSG), American Tempura (Nothing Moments), and the forthcoming The Fugitives (Simon & Schuster). His numerous periodical publications include Conjunctions, BOMB, Harper's, Esquire, Fence, Tin House, and The Brooklyn Rail. The recipient of fellowships from the Lannan Foundation and the New York Foundation for the Arts, among other honors, he is an editorial board member for The Literary Review and the founding curator of the "Home and Other Dislocations" series.
