A talk by music theorist Eric Wen presented by the Bard College Music Program and the Conservatory of Music
Eric Wen, professor in music theory and analysis at the Curtis Institute of Music, CUNY, and Juilliard School of Music, Graduate Division, will discuss the Introduction from the first movement of Mozart's String Quartet in C, K.465, known as the "Dissonance”. His book Structurally Sound, an analytical examination of seven classical masterpieces, has recently been published by Dover Publications.
