Biography: A.B., Harvard College; Ph.D., University of Virginia.Assistant Professor of Literature, Film, and Media in the Department of Humanities and Arts at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and formerly a Lecturer in the English and Media Studies Departments at the University of Virginia, where he was an inaugural recipient of the Graduate Fellowship for Digital Scholarship in the Humanities. Attended the School of Criticism and Theory at Cornell University and the Futures of American Studies Institute at Dartmouth College.
Completed dissertation—titled "Topopoiesis: Contemporary American Poetries and the Imaginative Making of Place"—under the auspices of the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum Research Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Articles, essays, and reviews in Discourse, Meridian, The Minnesota Review, n+1, and SEL Studies in English Literature 1500-1900.
