Biography: B.S., Electrical Engineering, Manhattan College; Ph.D., Bioengineering, University of Pennsylvania; M.A., Mathematics Education, New York University; 2009 Math for America Fellow. Previously taught math at University Neighborhood High School, Mott Hall II, and inquiry-based physics at Pan American International High School at Monroe in New York; developed and taught a bioengineering outreach course at University City High School in Philadelphia and assistant taught a molecular imaging lab course at University of Pennsylvania. Research interests include the development of non-invasive molecular imaging methods for early detection and diagnosis of cancer. Publications have appeared in Journal of Biomedical Optics and Bioconjugate Chemistry. Co-inventor on a pending patent for a method of in vivo detection of phospholipase activation.Contact:
