Get your hands dirty. No farming experience required.

If you are a Bard student interested in working on a market farm in an inclusive and supportive environment, then consider joining us this spring, summer, or fall. If you want to apply, have questions, or would like to volunteer on the farm, email [email protected].

  • Spring Semester
    Only work-study jobs available.
    Application period closed.

    Work-study shifts begin in March and run till Commencement. Tasks include bed preparation, planting, cultivating, harvesting (including shiitake mushrooms), sales, record keeping, deliveries, and outreach.
     
  • Summer Farm Crew
    Bard College students only.
    Summer crew begins as early as the last week of May and ends August 31. You do not have to be work-study eligible to work on the summer crew. Commitment of 20 hours per week.

    Compensation:
    Monthly stipend (received after completion of month)
    Campus housing
    Weekday lunch at Kline
    All the veggies you can eat from our farm
